LCC responded within 24 hours of an invite to a mass shooting during the Route 91 Harvest music festival on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada that occurred on October 1, 2017. Twenty-six people were killed and twenty others wounded.

Fourteen (14) LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs and three (3) LCC K-9 Police Ministry Dogs and 31 handlers from across the country were in Las Vegas to bring the Mercy, Compassion, Presence and Proclamation of Jesus Christ to victims, survivors, and families of those who have lost loved ones in this horrific event.
